The SkyDeck Bio+Health Track supports startups at the intersection of biology, healthcare, and technology. We broadly define this space to include companies that:
- Require a science lab for research and development (e.g., biotech, drug discovery, synthetic biology).
- Impact medical offices or patient care (e.g., new models of healthcare delivery, AI-driven diagnostics, remote monitoring, health data analytics).
- Make clinical claims, meaning their product or service has a direct medical or health impact that may require regulatory approval (e.g., medical devices, diagnostics, therapeutics).
- Work within the healthcare system, whether by improving hospital workflows, insurance, or patient care.
Our focus is on supporting founders tackling big challenges in human health, everything from cutting-edge research, innovative treatments, digital health advancements, to new ways of making healthcare more accessible and effective.
