Held at Bakar Bio Labs, the event featured opening remarks by author Mike Alvarez Cohen (Director, Innovation Ecosystem Development, UC Berkeley) and a panel discussion moderated by Darren Cooke, Berkeley’s Interim Chief Innovation & Entrepreneurship Officer. Panelists Caroline Winnett (Executive Director, Berkeley SkyDeck), Prof. Trevor Darrell (Founding Co-Director, BAIR), and Prof. David Schaffer (Director, QB3 & Bakar Bio Labs) shared insights on how Berkeley continues to pioneer new models for research, funding, and startup collaboration..
