SkyDeck Sponsors CalHacks 3.0
Motivated by free food, caffeine, and 36 hours dedicated to creativity in code and hardware, more than 2,000 participants gathered in Memorial Stadium on November 11-13th for Cal Hacks 3.0, the largest collegiate hackathon in the world. Top student talents from around the country congregated at Memorial Stadium to be judged on potential positive impact, user interface and experience, originality and innovation, and technical difficulty. Projects covered topics such as health, education, 3D printing, gaming, Virtual Reality, security, and much more.
Participants had the opportunity to network with corporate sponsors, attend workshops like demo day pitch coaching from SkyAdvisor Cynthia Maxey from Bee Partners, and listen to keynote speakers such as Charlie Cheever co-founder of Quora and Exponent.JS.
