SkyDeck Plans a Connected Cars Roundtable
SkyDeck will be hosting a Connected Cars Roundtable on May 5th. Smart phones, smart homes, and even smart sleep masks and smart vibrators. The 21st century lifestyle is engrossed in the technology that had only previously existed in science fiction movies. And now, connected cars are revolutionizing the automobile industry by providing riders with the software that syncs cars to the devices within them.
According to Business Insider, there will be 220 million connected cars on the road globally by 2020. However, the excitement surrounding the growing market has presented providers and developers with roadblocks. SkyDeck is hosting a Connected Cars Roundtable in early May to open a discussion about the technical challenges in bringing the connected cars to market.
A panel discussion will follow presentations from lead innovators in technology and data intelligence, including UC Berkeley EECS Professor Anca Dragan, CEO of DeepScale Forrest Landola, and John Matranga and Matt Miller of OSIsoft. Ericsson will sponsor the event with the intention of opening a meaningful discussion about how to connect cars.
