Nobel Laureate Oliver Williamson joins SkyDeck Advisory Board

oliver_williamsonSkyDeck is pleased to announce the addition of Nobel Laureate Oliver Williamson to our Advisory Board.

Oliver Williamson is Professor of the Graduate School and the Edgar F. Kaiser Professor Emeritus of Business, Economics, and Law at the University of California, Berkeley.

He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Econometric Society. He has been awarded 13 honorary degrees. He has been a Fulbright Professor, a Guggenheim Fellow, a Fellow at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences, a Distinguished Senior U.S. Scientist, Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung, and a John von Neumann Lecturer. He was awarded the 1988 Irwin Award for Scholarly Contributions to Management, the H. C. Recktenwald Prize in Economics for 2004, and was named a Distinguished Fellow of the American Economic Association in 2007.

Professor Williamson was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2009.
